Tea Tables, live

Pull up a chair.
Someone is already talking.

Small circles of strangers, gathered around one real question. Listen as long as you like. Speak when something in you answers.

A society for deeper conversation

How a table works

One question, held in company

Come as you are

Take a seat and your face joins the circle. Nobody is asked to speak on arrival.

One question at a time

The question rests at the center of the table. Raise a hand to be next, and the circle turns together.

Carry it home

What the asking turns up is yours to keep. Write it in your journal, or send a line of it as a card.

The door is wide

Arrive as you are — or arrive without a name

At the Tea Tables you may appear as yourself, choose a name for the journey, remain completely anonymous, or simply listen. You decide what to share, how to take part, and whether anyone may invite you to meet again.

You do not have to reveal your identity to reveal something true.

Wake Journey, deeper questions asked together.
